In the summer of 2023, the BC Lions went above and beyond when they partnered with the Driven Project to provide the ultimate experience for a group of children battling critical illnesses.
After a morning full of supercar therapy in Vancouver, our co-pilots received a hero’s welcome from the BC Lions team and 500+ fans as they were dropped off one by one in front of BC Place Stadium. The kids walked the ‘orange carpet’ right onto the field, where they were given customized jerseys and acknowledged in front of a stadium full of cheering fans, followed by a private suite to enjoy the game from.
“The Driven Project is an outstanding initiative and we are proud to add the excitement of taking in a Lions game to this special day for these kids. They have all been handed serious challenges in life. It will always be a priority for us to give back in any way possible.”
